more information, email Barry at Ozark
Management Group with the particulars of your date including date(s) wanted, city & state location, performance location, anticipated size of audience, type of venue i.e. club, festival, theatre, etc. and available sound and/or lighting to be provided. Bill can also provide that as part of his package along with packaged shows featuring multiple acts.
Bill Lusk - Sound Information & Stage Set Up
Professional sound and lighting is required. Venue can provide it or it can be included in his package. Bill’s needs are simple, and he will try to be adaptable to your situation. Here are specific sound needs:
Bill Lusk Solo Performance :
- 1 Shure SM 57 vocal mike with boom located on Bill's right as he faces audience (he can provide this if prearranged)
- 1 XLR cable goes into one channel of the sound system for Bill's D.I. (direct box - he provides) for his Acoustic Guitar.
- 1 monitor for Bill to hear on stage.
- 1 small table (or something Bill can use as a table) on Bill's left as he faces audience.
- A straight back chair or stool - seat to be no taller than 23" from floor.
- Basic lighting package appropriate to type of venue and size of anticipated audience.
Plus:
- Dressing room with bottled water, regular Coke and coffee. A Snack Tray with finger sandwiches and fruit would be nice but not required.
- On stage he uses a small end table with a small light that sits to his left and a music stand with light that sits in front of him. Both will need 110v electricity. Depending on the job, he most often provides his own stool and side table with light. If he will be providing the sound, he will need an additional table to set mixer & outboard rack on, an additional electricity outlet in proximity to stage and at least 1 additional person to help with load-in and load-out.
Note for Sound Person:
Bill can use a microphone for guitar along with DI. You can try mixing the two, but he always uses his DI for his pick up unless he's plugging it straight into an amp on stage.
(If you use a guitar mic, Bill will also need a boom on that mic stand. Guitar mic stand should be on Bill's left at 10 o'clock as he faces audience. At most gigs, Bill does not use a guitar mic, only the pickup.)
Bill Lusk with Band Performance - Appropriate Stage Set with mic & location needs will be provided in a PDF file in advance of the show.
Note to Venue: If you have any questions, please contact Barry Lyman.
